The pandemic affected everyone in different ways. For many people on the left of the political spectrum, the forced isolation increased sensitivity to online messaging and a feeling of guilt about not doing enough good in the world. That was certainly true for Kristen, who was unsure how to deal with their guilt and depression and until finding a worthy cause: the Nerdfighters.
