Tangle is looking for a college student or recent college graduate to work part-time as a podcast/video intern or assistant. This is a part-time, paid position. An ideal candidate will have a passion for politics, digital media, and journalism coupled with an open mind and an ability to think critically about the news of the day. Preference will be given to candidates in the Philadelphia or greater Philadelphia region.
Potential responsibilities include editing our daily podcast or regular YouTube videos, shooting live events, helping assist in interviews and daily production, and working out of our Philadelphia studio.
Applicants should have:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere — After Effects a plus.
- Minimum of one year of video editing (Adobe Premiere)
- Minimum of one year of audio editing and mixing (Any DAW)
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Understanding of composition and aesthetic choices
- Self-sufficiency in solving technical problems
- Proficiency in color grading and vertical video formatting (preferred, not required)
